From the time I was a little girl, I have always had a passion for animals. I grew up in a Chicago condo with 4 cats and as an only child, they were my best friends. My Grandmother, who lived 1 mile away, had the best Golden Retriever, Whiskey, who I loved to play with and take on walks. When I moved to my first apartment I moved all my things left the boxes full and went to the shelter and adopted my first cat (my mom wouldn’t let me take “my” 3 cats with me). That began my big adventure to being the Crazy Cat Lady.
In 2014 I joined the Animal Care Hospital Team as a veterinary assistant and have found my passion in this wonderful place. I am currently enrolled in school to further my education and will be receiving my CVT soon. Studying with my cats, we all know how much cats love to help with homework, has become one of my favorite past-times.
My Husband and I moved to Minooka in 2004 then Morris in 2013 and have loved it here ever since. In 2006 we welcomed our first child, Michael, and our second, Emily in 2009. We love all the things Morris has to offer as it really reminds me of the neighborhood I grew up in.
One thing I learned in 2020 is to take everything one day at a time. My goals for 2021 include enjoying more time outside and playing my favorite game nite game, "Call of Duty" online.
