Alyssa M – Technician

Alyssa joined the Animal Care Hospital Team in June of 2021. She started her veterinary career working in the kennels for a previous employer. It was this job that sparked an interest in animal care and a passion to help her patients. Using this inspiration, she then enrolled in the Veterinary Medical Technology program at Joliet Junior College in pursuit of her degree and CVT licensing. She is currently set to graduate in the Summer of 2022.

She currently lives at home with 2 cats, her fiancé, and her mother whom she has always considered her best friend. One day she does hope to add a pet dog into the mix.

Alyssa is Fear Free Certified, and CPR (recovery) certified, she envisions continuing her education in the future to become a Veterinary Technician Specialist. In her free time, she loves being in nature, and enjoys artistic crafts of all types.
